Manchester City's Double Hopes Alive After FA Cup Win
Silva's Late Goal Secures Victory
Chelsea's quadruple hopes ended as Bernardo Silva's late goal handed Manchester City a 1-0 victory in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
The Premier League champions will now face Arsenal or Newcastle in the final on June 3, while Chelsea's hopes of winning all four major trophies this season were dashed.
It was a hard-fought contest between two of the best teams in the country, with both sides having chances to win the match.
Chelsea started brightly and went close to taking the lead in the first half when Mason Mount's shot hit the post.
City grew into the game and had a great chance to open the scoring in the second half when Erling Haaland was through on goal, but he shot wide.
The breakthrough eventually came in the 85th minute when Silva fired home from close range after a neat passing move.
It was a cruel blow for Chelsea, who had been the better side for much of the match.
